But a bar porter will literally get in trouble and even coached (written up) for their job performance, for cutting limes for their bar tender. For example, "It's my job" is a culture standard. It's not the worst place I've ever worked, but it's been very disappointing to watch all the aspirations I had get ripped from my grasp due to the incompetent leadership I'm forced to be a subordinate to. Poor inventory management, poor labor control, poor floor supervision, poor team development, and an overall sense of "How much longer do I have to be here?" is the kind of image the F+B department propagates. Unfortunately, department level management seems far too disconnected from what's needed to accommodate for everybody that the work environment becomes unbearably inconsistent. Graton has the potential to be one of the best places to work in Sonoma County.
